Ulster Senior Hurling Championship 2009

The Ulster Senior Hurling Championship 2009 is this year's premier inter-county hurling competition played in the province of Ulster. The tournament is organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association and played as a separate competition to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. All nine counties in Ulster compete, along with London. The competition is in knockout format and is structured so as to avoid mis-matches in the early rounds. Antrim, the historically strongest county, have been given a bye to the final due to their involvement in this year's Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.
